Targovax is a clinical stage immuno-oncology company developing immune activators to target hard-to-treat solid tumors. Targovax aims to unlock greater clinical benefits in cancer patients by deploying its multifunctional platforms to target key immune regulators and oncogenic drivers. Targovax’s focus is to “activate the patient’s immune system to fight cancer”, thus extending and transforming the lives of cancer patients. Targovax’s pipeline aims at different cancer indications, including melanoma, mesothelioma and colorectal cancer.
Targovax’s lead clinical candidate, ONCOS-102, is a genetically modified oncolytic adenovirus, which has been engineered to selectively infect cancer cells and activate the immune system to fight the cancer. Targovax has employees located both in Oslo, Norway and Espoo, Finland.
Targovax is currently seeking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will, in accordance with the company’s business strategy, take an active role in the further development of the company, and participate in Targovax’s strategic and operative development.
As our new CFO, you will play a key role in the company. Together with the CEO, you will build the value of Targovax and its investor base with long term specialist investors. You will provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team, provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and the management team, manage the processes for equity financing, lead IR activities, manage financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting. You will also prepare the company for a potential dual listing.
Skills & Competencies
We are looking for you, who have a master’s degree or MBA, and at least 5-10 years of management experience. You are a capital markets professional or CFO with strong capital markets experience, having conducted raises with local, international, generalist and specialist investors. You may have had experience as investment banker or with dual listings, but not necessarily. You have a good understanding of what is important for investors.
